Hi Ed, the difference here is that this is not done for optimization of automatical breathing patterns (Buteyko).
This is done for acute heart situation (Mikouline manoeuver). The week 8 is about “How to help the heart by minimising its load in critical situation”. PRIMARY PATHWAY: Breath-holding AFTER inhalation helps tracking down the pericardium (heart sac) – and bu that minimising heart load in critical situation. That’s how Mikouline manoeuver works.
