Hi Edo, 1-leg stands are very good! But it’s two completely different kind of exercises. Balance board trains some other areas that 1-stands does not. But they complement each other – that’s for sure! Try start focusing on relaxation of all the upper joints when you are on the balance board. Don’t proceed too fast. Standing meditation is great too!

Can I as an alternative for the balance board do the following? Standing on 1 leg with eyes closed? For me a balance board is a bit unpractical and I made a bad fall with it. Standing on 1 leg with eyes closed is more practical, I can do it on different places and can combine it with my standing meditation (Zhan Zhuang)
